SHORTLISTED FOR DIVERSE CUMBRIA AWARDS

Carlisle United Football Club and Community Sports Trust are proud to be finalists in two categories at the Diverse Cumbria Awards 2025.

The Club and CST are together among the final three for the Business Champion Award due to exemplary EDI initiatives on matchdays and within the community. Additionally, EDI Lead Teresa Mulholland is individually shortlisted for the Positive Role Model Award for her coordination of EDI activities.

This recognition underlines the dedication of all involved in championing EDI through impactful events and best practices throughout the 2024/25 season.

EDI Lead for the Club and Community Sports Trust, Teresa Mulholland, said: “I am incredibly honoured to be shortlisted for the Positive Role Model category at the Diverse Cumbria Awards. 

"This recognition is not just mine - it belongs to everyone in the EDI team and is a testament to the inspiring people and communities I have the privilege to work alongside. 

"Together, we are proving that inclusion, respect, and kindness can truly make a difference.”

Carlisle United Community Sports Trust CEO, James Tose said: "I am immensely proud that the work of the club and the club's official charity (CUFC CST) has been named as finalists in two categories at the Diverse Cumbria Awards 2025.
