Media Accreditation

Carlisle United welcomes accredited media to Brunton Park and is committed to providing a professional, well-run environment to support matchday coverage.

Requests to attend first team fixtures must be submitted via email to james.gates@carlisleunited.co.uk no later than 48 hours prior to kick-off. All applications are subject to availability and demand, and approval is not guaranteed. The club reserves the right to refuse or withdraw accreditation where necessary, including in cases of non-compliance with relevant regulations.

Accredited media will have access to the club’s dedicated Media Room, located a short walk from the West Stand Ticket Office. Open both pre and post-match, the space provides a comfortable working environment along with refreshments, including hot drinks and light catering.

On matchdays, access to the stadium is available from approximately two and a half hours before kick-off. Passes can be collected on arrival from the West Stand Ticket Office, situated beneath the big screen in the Northern Competitions Fan Zone. From there, media should proceed via the adjacent staircase which leads directly to the press box.

Within the press box, desks will be clearly labelled on arrival. Media representatives are asked to locate their name and take the corresponding position. Teamsheets will be distributed in the press box following the official announcement of line-ups.

Parking, where requested and approved, is available in the supporters’ car park located to the rear of Brunton Park. Any media working pitchside must wear a high-visibility vest at all times and are asked to bring their own.

Post-match activity is split across two locations. Home team interviews take place in the media room, while visiting team interviews are conducted pitchside. Access to away interviews will be coordinated by club staff, with non-club media required to attend alongside a club representative due to the route close to the changing rooms and tunnel.

All visiting media are asked to follow the designated entry and exit routes provided on arrival to ensure the smooth and secure operation of matchday activities.
