NORTH WEST RECYCLING NAMED CLUB PARTNER & WASTE MANAGEMENT PARTNER

/

Carlisle United Football Club are pleased to announce that North West Recycling is now an official Club Partner, and Waste Management Partner for the 2025/26 season.

Founded in 1995 as Brampton Skip Hire, they have grown over the past 30 years into the region’s largest privately owned waste management provider, serving Cumbria, South West Scotland, and Northumberland.

At Brunton Park, you’ll now see colour-coded bins - and by using them, supporters help ensure that a third of the club’s waste is turned into renewable energy after it leaves their site.

A local company, proud of their Cumbrian heritage, North West Recycling employs over 100 local people.

“This partnership is about more than waste,” said a spokesperson for NWR. “It’s about shared values. Carlisle United plays a vital role in the life of the city, and we’re proud to stand alongside them as a business rooted in the same community. We’re committed to supporting our region, our people, and the local causes that matter.”

“While the last two seasons haven’t gone as hoped, we believe the club is now stronger than ever - on and off the pitch - and ready to rebuild,” the spokesperson added. “We’re excited to be part of that journey.”

Executive Support Officer and Operational Lead for Sustainability, Pete Dunn said: "We are delighted to be working with North West Recycling. We have been working closely with them on waste management around the site and are pleased to welcome them as a Club Partner and the club’s Waste Management Partner."
