CST's Teresa Mulholland wins Lifetime Achievement Award

Teresa Mulholland at Diverse Cumbria Awards

Carlisle United Community Sports Trust’s Director of Governance, Safeguarding and EDI, Teresa Mulholland, received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Diverse Cumbria Awards 2025.

The Diverse Cumbria Awards are all about celebrating those who go above and beyond to make the county a more inclusive, welcoming, and fair place for everyone.

Teresa was selected by the jury for the Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of her decades of tireless work championing inclusion, equality, and community wellbeing, often quietly, but always powerfully.

Her impact in her role with CUFC CST on the local community has been both deep and lasting, and each and every member insisted on the recognition.

Teresa Mulholland, Carlisle United Community Sports Trust’s Director of Governance, Safeguarding and EDI, said: “I am truly honoured to have received the Diverse Cumbria Lifetime Achievement Award. I never expected to receive such an accolade.

“I am passionate about our community, and this award reflects that impact. I would like to thank CUFC and CUFC CST for providing me with the platform to allow me to do a job I love.

“Thank you to my two sons, Levi and Jamie, who are my inspiration to keep doing what I am doing.”

James Tose, Carlisle United Community Sports Trust CEO, added: “Everyone at Carlisle United Community Sports Trust is extremely proud of Teresa for receiving the lifetime achievement award.

“Teresa often goes above and beyond, so to receive recognition for her hard work and commitment to helping our community is fantastic.

“Well done, Teresa!”
