Following this afternoon’s deadlock as the spoils were shared with visitors Eastleigh, Man of the Match Josh Williams spoke to CUTV on his own performance, putting things right and keeping the faith.
Here’s everything we learnt:
Honest Assessment
“The boys played well to be fair, it's just decisive moments of the game and seeing it outthat's cost us two points.
Overall, we played well so we just need to take it into next week and then hopefully get three points.”
Staying Focused
“We just need to see it out and keep in concentration but it's one of them ones.
We have to go again next week.”
Missed Opportunities
“We had many chances first off, we just need to punish them in the first half and see the game out.”
High Standards
“It kind of feels like a loss to be fair but of course we came out with one point.
Really and truly we should have come out with three.”
Partnership with Luamba
“We're close off the pitch so obviously we're just going to bring it onto the pitch and help the team as much as we can.
It’s all round the team really, we've got a pretty tight group so we'll just regroup next week and we'll go again.”
Making an Impact
“I just want to get on the pitch and play as much as I can, then help the team as much as I can.”
Staying Grounded
“It's important to be fair to stay top of the table because we're trying to get promotion.
We just need to stay focused, keep our head down and don't let the stuff get ahead of us.There's plenty of the season left so we just keep going really.”
Electric Brunton Park
“The atmosphere was top class to be fair.
Hopefully we can get that for the rest of the season because we're going to need their support.”
