VOTE FOR YOUR AUGUST PLAYER OF THE MONTH

.

It’s time to decide the Carlisle United Player of the Month for August, and we want YOU to determine who takes home the crown.

This month’s shortlist combines :

  • Miguel Azeez – The midfielder played a key role in the Blues’ engine room throughout August, combining his energy and quality in possession with an increasing threat in front of goal. He opened his Carlisle account with a goal in the 4-1 victory over Hornchurch before finding the net again in the 4-2 win against Scunthorpe United, finishing the month with two superb strikes.
  • Harvey Bunker – Bunker was a consistent presence in the heart of Carlisle’s midfield throughout August, contributing at both ends of the pitch. He scored twice in the 4-1 victory over Hornchurch after finding a late equaliser away to Yeovil Town earlier in the month.
  • Leo Duru – The summer signing quickly established himself as an attacking threat from the right during his first month at Brunton Park. His pace and energy provided Carlisle with an outlet down the flank, while he also showed his quality in the final third, providing assists for goals against Hornchurch and Scunthorpe United
  • Georgie Kelly – Kelly made an immediate impact at the start of the campaign, scoring both of Carlisle’s goals in the opening day defeat to Worthing before continuing to lead the line throughout August. With Morgan Feeney absent at the beginning of the season, Kelly was also handed the captain’s armband, adding leadership responsibilities to his role as the Blues’ main attacking outlet.
