Carlisle United will host a special Halloween family event ahead of our home game against Harrogate Town on Wednesday 28 October.
Brunton Park After Dark will take place from 3pm until 7.45pm, with the Neil Centre and surrounding Fan Zone transformed for an afternoon and evening of Halloween activities, entertainment and family fun.
The event, sponsored by Stanwix Park Holiday Centre, is open to everyone, whether attending the match or not, with a range of activities available for children of all ages.
The Neil Centre will be at the heart of the event, with Halloween decorations, lighting and activities throughout the building.
Planned attractions include a Halloween mini disco, scare maze, face painting, glitter tattoos, arts and crafts, soft play, a bouncy castle, football inflatables and Halloween party games.
Jasmine Dent, Commercial Administrator said: “Our family-focused events have been incredibly popular, including the Family Fun Day and last year’s Halloween event, so we’re really looking forward to making this one even bigger.
“There’s going to be loads for families to enjoy throughout the afternoon, whether they’re coming to the game or just joining us for the Halloween activities.
“We want to see some brilliant costumes for the fancy dress competition and it will be great to get some of the children involved on the pitch at half-time too.
“We want Brunton Park to be somewhere families can come and enjoy much more than just the 90 minutes, and hopefully this will be another really enjoyable day for young supporters.”
King Garth Spooky Alpacas will also be on site, alongside a Halloween photo area, a Blues Store pop-up shop and a number of other activities across the Neil Centre and Fan Zone.
A spooky walkway will run between the Neil Centre and Fan Zone, helping create a Halloween feel across the area while providing a dedicated pedestrian route.
There will also be a range of Halloween-themed food and drink available, including pumpkin spice and gingerbread lattes, toffee apples, hot dogs, cookies and muffins.
Best Dressed Competition
Children are encouraged to come along in Halloween fancy dress, with a best dressed competition taking place before the game.
A Carlisle United player will help select finalists from different age groups, with those chosen invited onto the pitch at half-time to receive prizes.
