,

It’s time to decide the Carlisle United Player of the Month for September, and we want YOU to determine who takes home the crown.

This month’s shortlist combines :

  • Miguel Azeez – The midfielder remained a key figure in Carlisle’s midfield throughout September, starting all six of the Blues’ league fixtures and offering his usual energy and quality in possession. He registered an assist for Stephen Wearne’s opener against Boreham Wood, whilst also playing his part in Carlisle’s first clean sheet of the season at AFC Fylde as United ended the month with a valuable 2-0 victory.
  • Leo Duru – Duru continued to be an important presence on the right side for Carlisle throughout the month, with his pace and energy providing the Blues with a constant attacking outlet. His willingness to push forward and contribute in the final third added another dimension to Carlisle’s play, while his consistency ensured he remained a key part of the side throughout a demanding run of fixtures.
  • Jack Ellis – Ellis continued to feature on the right side of Carlisle’s back three last month, offering energy and composure in possession from his defensive position. He provided the Blues with another option when moving the ball up the pitch and capped the month with a standout display at AFC Fylde, where he was named Player of the Match, opened the scoring with a composed finish and helped Carlisle keep their first clean sheet of the season in a 2-0 victory.
  • Regan Linney – Linney continued to provide Carlisle with an attacking threat throughout September, making his opportunities count when called upon. He came off the bench to score against Woking before being handed a starting place at AFC Fylde, where he doubled the Blues’ advantage with a close-range finish. His two goals in the final week of the month provided an important boost as Carlisle ended September with a much-needed win.
