Duru joined the Blues in the summer of 2026 after impressing during a successful pre-season trial.

He began his career in the Manchester United Academy before joining Blackburn Rovers, where he progressed through the youth ranks and made his senior debut in the Carabao Cup in 2024.

The full-back gained first team experience during loan spells with Barrow, San Diego FC and Birmingham Legion, while also representing the United States at under-20 level.
