Brad Nicholson joined the Blues in June 2026, bringing a different dimension to the backline with his commanding presence, left-footed balance and trademark long throw.

The defender arrived at Brunton Park following a successful spell with Gateshead, where he played under Rob Elliot and established himself as a key figure in the side.

Renowned for his power, athleticism and composure in possession, Nicholson is equally effective at the other end of the pitch. His long throw provides a unique attacking weapon, while his ability to support forward play and contribute in the final third adds another layer to his game.
