Chairman Tom Piatak has penned the following message ahead of this weekend's Enterprise National League play-off semi-final at Brunton Park.
I won’t overcomplicate it. This is what the whole season has been building toward. It is why people turn up at Brunton Park, why supporters travel the length of the country, why away ends sell out, and why this club means so much to Carlisle and Cumbria.
To the players, coaches and staff, thank you for putting us in this position. You have earned this opportunity. Now it is about trusting each other, embracing the moment, and giving everything for the badge, for each other, and for the supporters who will be behind you from the first whistle to the last.
To the supporters, you have been outstanding. You have stood by this club through good days and difficult ones, and the atmosphere at Brunton Park last weekend showed what this place can be when we are all together. The noise, the energy, the families, the singing section, and the sense of belief around the ground were exactly what we want Carlisle United to represent.
Sunday is a big day, but it is also another chance to show who we are: a proud football club, a united community, and a group of people who care deeply about where this club is going.
No grand speech is needed now. Let’s fill Brunton Park, bring the noise, back the team, and give everything together.
