OPPOSITION PLAYER TO WATCH

Jimmy Knowles has been the standout attacking threat for Altrincham in the opening months of the season.

With four goals and two assists already to his name, the former Mansfield Town striker has settled quickly into life at Alty, offering pace, intelligent movement, and a real eye for goal. Operating both centrally and from wide areas, Knowles has developed a growing partnership with Altrincham’s midfield creators and will be looking to add to his tally in front of a home crowd.

His ability to stretch defences and exploit space in behind will be something United’s back line will need to be alert to throughout Saturday’s contest.
