Following on from Carlisle United’s under-18s victory over Grimsby Town, we spoke to midfielder Jonah Lowes.
He discussed the side’s performance, his loan to Darlington and his recent professional contract.

1. A quality victory
“It was a really good game, and the lads did well throughout.
“We wanted to come here and get the three points, and that’s exactly what we’ve done.”
2. A positive individual season with Darlington
“It’s been really enjoyable campaign.
“It was a great experience which I certainly needed, and it was very worthwhile."
3. Signing his first professional contract
“Top feeling.
“It’s something that I’ve worked so hard for, over so many years.”
4. Goals for next season
“I’m going to work hard and give it a good go in pre-season.
“If I can’t break through, then I’ll try and get a loan and keep building up my experience."
