Academy success brings players through
We are delighted to announce the Carlisle United Academy will be continuing its link with Onside Soccer of Barrow / Ulverston to help us run a development centre in the south of the county.Brian Dawson and Gavin Butler, with the aid of their support staff, have been invaluable in helping players in that part of the county experience academy style training.
It has brought success with some of the players going on to be signed with our main academy which proves there is a real need for this centre in the region.
We are pleased that Gavin will be joining us as coach with one of our foundation age groups next season which will again allow us to link the Onside Soccer development centre with the Carlisle United academy.
We thank all the players and parents for their support and look forward to another successful partnership for the 2014/15 season.
