Carlisle United's young Blues defeated Oldham Athletic 3-0 at the Sheepmount to progress into the Youth Alliance Cup North Final.
Lewis Lambert opened the scoring within the first ten minutes, before Seb Mason and Jack Porter secured the victory with their second-half strikes.
Hayden Atkinson captained the United side, which also included Mason, Jonah Lowes, and Amaru Smith, who have been involved with the first team in recent weeks.
The young Blues raced into an early lead in the eighth minute through Lambert, whose well-placed header from a teasing Mason cross dropped past Harvey Hampson into the bottom left corner.
Alfie Hughes looked to force an equaliser when he delivered a cross from the right flank, which dipped narrowly over the crossbar, aided by the strong wind gusting around the Sheepmount.
Smith came close to making the most of some uncertain defending from the visitors, getting onto a loose back header and rounding the keeper only to find the side netting.
Hughes' deliveries were proving a threat as he swung in a free-kick from the right touchline, with Will Decandia sneaking in at the far post to flash a header wide.
The young Blues began to gain control over the proceedings, with Lowes seeing a free-kick and a curling shot from the edge of the Latics' penalty area fly off target within a couple of minutes.
United's combinations in possession were clicking with neat interplay, seeing Simon Rigby drive through midfield and feed Mason, who shot wide on his left foot.
HALF-TIME: Carlisle United 1-0 Oldham Athletic
Mason doubled the young Blues' advantage in the 61st minute, showing quick feet to poke Will Hatton's cross into the back of the net, past Hampson.
Substitute Zac Tonge tried to make an impact from the bench, tricking his way down the left wing and finding Lambert, whose shot was blocked by some gritty Latics defending.
Rigby and Mason continued to threaten Hampson's goal as they attempted to add a third, with both their driven efforts saved by the Oldham stopper at his near post.
Tai Bell thought he had added a third when Atkinson powered down the right and delivered a cross which the young Blues substitute fired goalwards, but Hampson was a match for the strike.
It was central defender Porter who sealed the win in the 89th minute, reacting quickest to place a well-struck side footed effort into the bottom right corner.
Latics' Isaac Adelaja was given a red card in stoppage time after a tussle with Mason on the floor as the young Blues closed out a controlled and determined performance to progress.
