Carlisle United are recruiting a Casual Academy Physiotherapist to join the club’s Academy.
The role will support the medical provision across the Academy, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to aid player development and progression from under-9s to under-16s.
The successful candidate will provide pitch-side emergency aid and acute injury management at training sessions and fixtures, support the assessment and treatment of Academy players, contribute to the sport science and medicine programme and maintain high professional standards.
Applicants should hold a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy, have HCPC registration and CSP membership, alongside experience working in a sporting environment and managing or assessing sports injuries. A driving licence is also essential.
An ITMMIF or equivalent sports trauma qualification and experience within the football environment are desirable. An enhanced criminal records check will be required.
