Carlisle United are delighted to announce the permanent signing of Teddy Jenks from Worthing for an undisclosed fee.
Jenks, 24, joins the Blues on a two-year deal with the option of a further year.
The midfielder began his football journey with his hometown club Brighton & Hove Albion, joining the Seagulls' Academy at the age of 10 before progressing through the club's youth system.
Jenks made his senior debut for Brighton aged 17, starting in a 3-1 Carabao Cup victory over Aston Villa in September 2019, before making a second first team appearance as a substitute against Preston North End later that season.
A loan move to Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen followed in July 2021, where Jenks gained valuable experience of senior and European football, making 24 appearances and scoring twice during the 2021/22 campaign.
He returned to England for the following season, joining League Two side Crawley Town on loan, before departing Brighton permanently in 2023 to sign for Forest Green Rovers.
Jenks made 24 appearances for Forest Green during the first half of the 2023/24 campaign before returning to Scotland, joining Ross County on loan for the remainder of the season and adding further Scottish Premiership experience to his CV.
A move to Worthing followed in 2025, where the midfielder enjoyed an impressive campaign in the National League South, scoring 13 league goals and earning both the Players' Player of the Season and Supporters' Player of the Season awards.
Jenks has also represented England at youth level, featuring for the Three Lions from under-16 to under-17 level and representing England at the 2019 UEFA European Under-17 Championship.

Teddy has been allocated shirt number 30 and will be eligible to make his United debut at Boreham Wood on Saturday.
This move is subject to ratification from The FA and National League.
