Carlisle United under-18s have been handed an away tie against Newcastle Blue Star in the second qualifying round of the FA Youth Cup.
The young Blues will begin their FA Youth Cup campaign on the road when they make the trip to the KD Stadium to face Newcastle Blue Star on Wednesday 30 September, with kick-off scheduled for 7:30pm.
Carlisle will be looking to get their Youth Cup journey off to a positive start as they take on a Newcastle Blue Star side that has already negotiated a tough opening round.
The Scotswood-based outfit secured their place in the second qualifying round after overcoming South Shields on penalties, setting up a meeting with the young Blues.
With a place in the next stage of the competition at stake, the tie promises to be an exciting test for Carlisle United's under-18s as they look to progress in one of youth football's most prestigious cup competitions.
