Carlisle United showed superb resilience to get a 2-1 comeback win against Solihull Moors at the ARMCO Arena.
Ben Wodskou had opened the scoring for the hosts, but United responded through Morgan Feeney and David Ajiboye's second-half strikes to claim the three points.
Head Coach Rob Elliot made three changes to his side, with Morgan Feeney, Adam Desbois and Josh Williams coming into the side.
Desbois had to be sharp to turn Marvin Johnson's inswinging corner away before Wodskou had a shot blocked by Brad Nicholson in the penalty area.
United recycled a corner, allowing Leo Duru to swing in a cross from the right, which was met powerfully by Teddy Jenks, but he nodded over the bar.
Marvin Johnson continued to threaten for the Moors, sending a low effort goalwards, which Desbois comfortably saved.
Jenks sent Micah Obiero through on goal; he rounded Sam Johnson, but the angle proved difficult as his shot was cleared for a corner.
A neat move from the Blues saw Williams drive forward and find Regan Linney, who saw his strike blocked and Whelan fired the follow-up off target.
The Moors took the lead on the brink of half-time when Wodskou smashed a strike past Desbois from a narrow angle after Marvin Johnson's free-kick had been cleared.
HALF-TIME: Solihull Moors 0-1 Carlisle United
United attempted to up the pressure with Jenks seeing his half-volley blocked at close range.
Whelan found Obiero on the edge of the box; he swivelled quickly and shot, but Sam Johnson held comfortably.
Feeney equalised in the 69th minute when Miguel Azeez picked up the ball on the edge of the box; his strike was blocked, but it fell to the Blues captain to caress it home.
And United had a second in the 77th minute through Ajboye, who fired past the hapless Sam Johnson from Duru's cross from the right.
United pushed for more, and neat footwork from Obiero allowed him to get a shot away, which was cleared off the line as the Blues saw out the game.
