United midfielder Harvey Macadam spoke to CUTV ahead of Saturday’s game at Wealdstone.
Speaking on his time at Brunton Park so far and his debut at Woking, he said: “I've loved it, to be fair, obviously coming in training every day, really like being around the lads training, and obviously got chucked in straight away at Woking, so yeah, loving it.
“I thought it was a good day to be fair, I thought we played really well, obviously clean sheet, few goals, the crowd was absolutely brilliant, so I really enjoyed it.
“It's been good, obviously the crowd are lively, which you want to play in front of as a player, so yeah, I've enjoyed both games at home.”
United have drawn the last two home games against Boreham Wood and Solihull Moors, with Harvey keen to look at the positives to take into Saturday’s game, he said: “The way the games have finished, obviously we've finished the better team in both games, I'd say.
“So obviously unlucky not to get six points in them two games, but there's lots of positives.
“I think the way we've been finishing games, obviously, the fitter of the teams, loads of balls in the box, loads of positivity, hopefully we can just start like that this time.”
On the test Wealdstone may provide, he said: “They look good on paper, but I've never actually come across them before. I'm sure we'll do our homework tomorrow before the game, so I'm looking forward to it.
“I think we'll be bang up for it, that's what I am. Obviously disappointed with probably the two draws, so we'll be bang at it, ready to go from minute one.
“Ready to go again, no excuses for myself physically, ready to go, buzzing for it.”
Speaking on the impact the fans can have, he said: “Yeah, loads, obviously they travelled well at Woking, made loads of positive noise for us, so hopefully they can do that again.
“It's been good, when you're on the front foot, they really enjoy that type of football, so hopefully we can provide more of that.”
And finally, he shared a message for those supporters travelling to North West London, he said: “Just get behind us like you always do, support us and hopefully we'll put on a show for you.”
