HARVEY MACADAM PENS A CONTRACT EXTENSION

.

Carlisle United are delighted to announce that Harvey Macadam has signed a one-year contract extension, committing his future to the Blues until the summer of 2028.

Macadam, 25, joined from Morecambe in August 2025 and impressed in his first season for United, picking up nine goal contributions in 44 games, becoming a mainstay in the engine room.

The midfielder developed an ability to score important goals, finding the net for the first time in a Blue shirt with a crucial strike against Forest Green Rovers and continued to do so throughout the 2025/26 campaign as United reached the Enterprise National League play-off semi-finals.

Harvey Macadam said: "Over the summer the club wanted to extend it, and I had a really good time last year. I really enjoyed being out there with the lads on a Saturday and Tuesday, fighting for three points for this club, so there was no reason why I wouldn't want to extend."

Sporting Director, Marc Tierney added: "It's fantastic to see Harvey extend his contract with the club. Since arriving, he's been an outstanding addition and has established himself as a key figure in our midfield.

"He brings the physicality, presence and quality you want from a midfielder, and his commitment to the club has been evident from day one.

"We're delighted that Harvey has chosen to commit his future to us. His desire to be part of what we're building says a lot about his character, and we're excited to see him continue playing an important role as we move the club forward."
