EVERYTHING WE LEARNT FROM HARVEY MACADAM: PRE MORECAMBE (A)

.

Looking ahead to Monday’s visit to Morecambe, we spoke to midfielder Harvey Macadam.

Speaking to CUTV, he discussed Saturday’s draw with Gateshead, finishing the season strong and the challenge of facing a revitalised side.

Here is everything we learnt:

1. Stalemate with Gateshead

“I think we played well, so we can’t be too disheartened with it.

“We certainly could’ve been more dominant on the scoresheet.”

2. Being more clinical

“We should’ve beaten Gateshead 5-0 or 6-0 to be honest.

“We had loads of chances, so hopefully we can take more of them next game and look forward to it.”

3. Morecambe fighting for their lives

“They (Morecambe) got a good result against Rochdale, so they’ll be right up for it.

4. Looking to the reverse fixture

“They’ve had a change of manager, so it’ll be a change of tactics from last time.

5. Preparing for Monday

“We will definitely do our homework and be ready for it.

6. The quick turnaround

“It’s probably good, I just want to get back out there.

“We have to be looking to get the three points.”

7. A message for the fans going to Morecambe

“Get behind us like you'd normally do.

“We will fight for our lives for that third spot.”
