The Carlisle United EDI team will start their third season planning and supporting EDI initiatives within the club and community.
They have produced a video which captures some of the events/campaigns organised last season; these include:
- Local Dance Schools showcases
- Baton Of Hope event at Brunton Park
- Men’s Mental Health Awareness Tournament
- Silent Footprints Baby Loss Awareness campaign
- Remembrance Fixture
- Deaf awareness training/Guide dogs/blind campaign
- Foodbank and homeless collection
- Autism Awareness/Sensory bags
- Wellbeing event
- Unite 4 Access
- Level Playing Field Disabled Access campaign
- Her Game Too and International Women’s Day
- Mental health campaigns
- Hospice at Home support
- Various charity bucket collections and information promotions
Teresa Mulholland, EDI Lead for the Club and Community Sport Trust, said: "I am excited that the EDI volunteers are back to help in promoting our EDI initiatives to the fan base and wider community.
"We have many organisations that we will be supporting and promoting their services/ provision this season."
