avid Ajiboye believes that Carlisle United need to continue performing after a crucial 3-1 win against Aldershot Town.
Ajiboye was crucial to United’s victory; he bagged a first-half brace against the Shots on Saturday.
The 28-year-old says that the result could be crucial moving forward into a busy period of the season.
He said: “It's definitely important to get two wins on the bounce because we haven't done that consistently.
“I'm happy we've done it.
“We return to Brunton Park on Saturday, so we need to back it up.”
Ajiboye was in a more selected to play in a more central position in the absence of Georgie Kelly, and he was pleased with his performance.
“I was in the areas to score the goals and I'm just happy I was able to put it in the back of the net.
“I've got to assess what kind of ball the wide player can put in and then assess the space in front.
“I think I've done well to get my two goals,” he said.
United have now picked up two wins in succession and Ajiboye thinks that the team need to continue the positive momentum that they have built.
“We just need to keep the momentum and build on for the rest of the season and keep pushing on,” he explained.
