Callum Whelan believes Carlisle United are beginning to show the full strength of their character and togetherness after the Blues made it three wins from three with a 4-2 victory against Altrincham.
Whelan was among the goalscorers as United produced another impressive away performance, with Callum Camps, Micah Obiero and Jonah Lowes also finding the net.
The midfielder was delighted with the response shown by the squad after falling behind, believing the three victories in quick succession demonstrated the strength and mentality within the group.
He said: "We've had a really tough week, obviously horrendous conditions at Solihull, nine men Wednesday, and even today falling behind.
"Just so proud of all the players, the staff, the fans, you lot.
"To win three from three, I think it's not a fluke; you've got to have serious character, resilience and togetherness to do that as a football club, and we've shown everything. So, yes, I'm proud."
Whelan also highlighted the importance of the squad's collective effort, insisting the players must continue working hard and maintaining the standards that have helped turn their form around.
"We've just got to concentrate on ourselves and keep doing the things every day that have got us in this position, which is the first one is work your socks off.
"It's a given. Yes, every day training hard, and we're really lucky with the squad we've got. We've got a lot of top players.
"Every single one of the last three games, I think the subs have won it for us by coming on, working hard. And, yes, people have been disappointed not to play. So, yes, the full squad buying into what we're trying to do."
The midfielder was also keen to recognise the contribution of the travelling supporters, with United recording a historic fourth consecutive away victory for the first time since the 1990s.
"Unbelievable, four away games. Yes, I think, again, that's credit to the whole club.
"Solihull, we have 1,000 fans. We have 1,000 fans more today. So they play a huge part, the staff, you guys.
"It's a collective effort. And if we keep that going together as a football club, I think we'll be successful."
