The family of Blues legend Ron ‘Ginger’ Thompson have been in touch to let us know that United fans will have the chance to say farewell to Ron next week.
Ron’s funeral procession will be leaving the family home at approximately 3pm on Friday 12 June and should be passing Brunton Park at approximately 3.15pm as it makes its way to the Crematorium, with family only following.
The family have asked that if you would like to pay your respects to Ron, they would be truly thankful if you could wave him off as he passes his beloved football ground.
