United’s 2018/19 season ticket numbers are now at 1,078 after just five weeks of sales with fans committing to the Blues once again ahead of the new campaign.
Ticket office manager Tarn Simmons said: “We were extremely busy over the weekend, with supporters coming down early ahead of kick off for the Newport game to get their season tickets.
“The feedback is still extremely good about the potential savings, linked to the incentive scheme we have in place, where just a slight increase in numbers will see existing season ticket holders get a six-match saving and our new season ticket holders enjoy a five-match saving.
“Match day prices have been held yet again, and we feel the savings to be made should encourage more people to hop on board with a season ticket. With the incentives we have in place, the more people who purchase season tickets, the cheaper it gets, so we’re hoping people spread the word and get behind the Blues yet again next season.”
“Obviously a lot of the talk is about the new manager, whoever that is, and our fans seem to be looking forward to getting right behind him,” she added.
“Hopefully sales will continue at the same rate through our renewal and new purchase incentive period this month and we will all be able to look forward to more excellent support when the new season comes along in August.”
Please note – Flexi-Card holders can upgrade to a season ticket during the Renewal and Early Buy period [up to 31 May] as a reward for your support through the current campaign. This will earn Flexi-Card holders who upgrade an equivalent four-match saving.
