With fixture release just 20 hours away we take a look at the trips the Blue Army will face through the 2018/19 season.
And United's fans will face a grand total of 10,048 miles on the road in the next campaign, down from 10,732 miles last season.
Following the promotion of Accrington Stanley, Coventry City, Luton Town and Wycombe Wanderers, as well as the relegation of Barnet and Chesterfield, United's away fans will have 654 miles less to travel next season.
The teams coming down from League One, as well as the two teams promoted from the National League, mean that there will also be fewer hours spent on the road.
Bury, MK Dons, Northampton and Oldham Athletic will be joining United in League Two next season, as well as Macclesfield Town and Tranmere Rovers, who were both promoted.
The shortest trip for the travelling Cumbrians will be to the Globe Arena to face Morecambe, with 1,851 Blues making the trip last season.
New additions to League Two in Bury, Oldham, Tranmere and Macclesfield will then complete the 'top five' shortest trips.
Although there are no London teams in the division next season, there are still journies to Exeter and Crawley (both 694 mile round trips) to contend with, as well as Yeovil and Colchester which are both over 600-mile round trips.
United had the fourth best away record in the division last season, winning ten and losing just seven of their 23 away league fixtures. A total of 9,487 fans watched United on the road in the league, and with some shorter trips to contend with, there is potential for more fantastic away followings.
The League Two fixtures for the 2018/19 season will be released at 9am on Thursday [21 June].
