Carlisle United are delighted to report that the club's United PlayerHD pay-per-view channel has reached its highest subscribers levels since 2012.The Blues are consistently in the top five in the EFL in terms of the number of videos uploaded per month, and rank in the top ten of close to 90 clubs, including some in the Premier League, for views and downloads from the channel.
Media officer Andy Hall said: "We were given new editing equipment by the EFL and CUSC London Branch purchased us a new camera, and that has helped us to take things to the next level.
"CUSG and Colin Carter from YESSS Electrical then helped us to purchase GoPro cameras, and that allowed us to bring a different type of coverage to the platform.
"Add to that the access the manager and players are giving us to the football department and it makes for some very exciting times for us.
"We're constantly looking for new features and items to put together for the fans and it appears from the growing number of subscribers that this is working."
"One of the important things for our subscribers is knowing where their subscription fee goes," media assistant Amy Nixon said. "The club gets 65% of the annual fee, which is a significant amount.
"Obviously the more subscribers we get, the more it will allow us to grow the platform, and that's something we are really keen to do."
