Keith Curle ahead of the Easter Monday game against Bristol Rovers
Manager Keith Curle spoke to us ahead of the Bank Holiday home game against Bristol Rovers.
“This will be a test because they’ve got fantastic momentum from being promoted last season,” he said. “They’ve found a bit of consistency. They’re producing everything we’re trying to bring to our club at the moment.
“It’s a good work ethic and they play with confidence and we will have to make sure we’re on our game. The message to the lads will quite simply be to put the ball in their net.”
“They’ll come up here expecting to carry their run forward,” he commented. “We went down there with a weakened team and we competed well for an hour, but they got their goals and it changed the game.
“As we’ve said before, we don’t fear anyone. On chances created over the last four or five games you would have expected that we’d have come out on top and picked up more than just a draw on each occasion.
“One win and everyone will start to ask if we can reach the play-offs again. I certainly think we can. Don’t back against us because, as I say, we can cause anybody problems in this division.”
