Curle and West sponsor ladies team
The United Ladies team received a welcome boost this week when first team manager Keith Curle and assistant manager Colin West took delivery of a range of travel and training wear, produced by local company Liberty Leisure, as part of a unique sponsorship package.Ladies team manager Tracy Gannon said: “Keith and Colin heard that we were looking to get some new clothing for match days and they said immediately that they were going to sponsor it for us.
“What they’ve done is absolutely amazing. They spoke to Andrew Dunning at Liberty Leisure and it’s brilliant for us to now see it here. It’ll make the team look and feel much more professional and I know I speak on behalf of all the girls when I say we are very grateful to both Keith and Colin for their support.”
Manager Keith Curle said: “Colin and I spoke to Tracy earlier in the season and we told her that if there was any way we could help, we would. I’ve sponsored one of their games and it’s good that we’ve both been able to help in this way as well.”
The Ladies team were handed their first batch of new kit ahead of the FA Cup home game against Rochdale last weekend.
