Update from the Saturday morning youth game
Lady luck has completely deserted the young Cumbrians in recent weeks and it was more of the same as they created chances, rattled the woodwork and played good football only to come away with nothing to show for their efforts.
Youth boss Alan Moore said: "I'm starting to sound like a broken record but we really are playing well without getting the rewards at the moment.
"It's frustrating in terms of the results but encouraging to see the lads are sticking to the things they are being asked to do.
"We come away feeling happy with what we've seen because we know we have plenty to build on."
