Carlisle United turn down written offer for Kyle Dempsey
Carlisle United can confirm that an offer for midfielder Kyle Dempsey, from a League One club, has been turned down by the club today.
Dempsey, 19, scored 11 goals in his 44 appearances through his first season as a professional and was monitored by a number of clubs as he cemented his place in Keith Curle’s starting line up.
Managing director John Nixon said: “We have received an official written offer from a League One club for Kyle and we have kept the player informed along the way.
“We spoke to the manager and the player about the approach and I can confirm that we have turned the offer down.”
