Eden Valley Hospice gets a garden makeover
A group of our NCS students popped along to Eden Valley Hospice at the weekend to complete their social action project by giving the EVH garden a little bit of a makeover.NCS coordinator John Sander said: "We had a great day at Eden Valley Hospice. We took 17 students with us and I was proud of the way they all conducted themselves.
"They really got stuck in to the tasks at hand - everything from painting to some heavier tidy up work - and I think they gave it that little bit extra because they knew how important it was to help the Hospice with a project like this.
"The students were really keen to make a positive impact and it's wonderful for our NCS programme as a whole that we are able to help the local community in so many different ways."
