Sponsorship deal continues with Cumberland Building Society
Carlisle United Football Club are delighted to announce that the Cumberland Building Society has agreed a new deal to continue as sponsor of Brunton Park’s Cumberland Community Stand for the new football season which starts on Saturday 9 August.
The sponsorship deal also includes the Schools and Community Programme which provides local primary schools and community groups with free tickets for home football matches during the season.
Commercial director Dick Young said: "Our relationship with the local Cumberland Building Society is a strong one and it is very important to us.
"The sponsorship of the community ticket scheme is particularly important because it allows us to reach out to the younger generation through schools, clubs and organisations who always enjoy their time with us.
"We'd like to thank the Cumberland Building Society for the support they give us and we look forward to continuing our partnership for many years to come."
Andrew Gordon, Head of Sales at the Cumberland, added: "We are delighted to extend our support for the club with this new sponsorship deal which will allow both ourselves and the club to strengthen our relationships with the local community.
"By sponsoring the Schools and Community Programme we are able to provide hundreds of free tickets to local primary schools and community groups in the area and help the club to develop its next generation of fans."
Blues fans can also support the club with a savings account from the Cumberland. This donates 1% of the total average balance to the club, as well as offering a range of other benefits including a discount in the club shop and a free prize draw for young savers to be mascots at future home games.
Tickets for Carlisle United home games continue to be available from the Cumberland’s Fisher Street branch in Carlisle.
