Carlisle United picked up after a slow start as they went on to dominate against Morecambe at Creighton on Tuesday afternoon with some clinical attacking football on display.
Kyle Dempsey and Jason Blackburn both scored impressive hat-tricks and Jack Elliott added a seventh as the young Cumbrians ran riot in front of goal.
"Everyone looked like they wanted the ball and we scored some very good goals," academy manager Alan Moore said. "Overall it was an excellent performance and a good way for the lads to round off their league season."
