Have you thought about player sponsorship?
Alfie Teasdale was given a nice treat at Brunton Park this month when he came along to meet defender Sean O’Hanlon shortly after the team had completed their final training session ahead of the mammoth journey to face Portsmouth.
Alfie came along with Paul Nicholson, of ECI Limited (Carlisle), after the pair reacted to the news that Sean would be staying with the club until the end of season by stepping in as the main player sponsor for the imposing and already popular centre back.
“It was great to meet Alfie and Paul,” O’Hanlon told us. “I wasn’t expecting to be sponsored, having joined the club so late in the season, so it’s fantastic that they have agreed to do this for me. Hopefully I can repay them with some decent performances out on the pitch.”
Also there to meet Sean on the day were Craig, Ross and Katie Mattinson – life long supporters of the club – and they took the opportunity to get a picture just in front of the home dug out here at Brunton Park.
