Fleming discussions to take place
Manager Greg Abbott revealed today that he hopes to sign former-Gretna and Grimsby number one Greg Fleming on an initial short-term deal ahead of the weekend.
“We’ve had Greg in with us for a couple of weeks now and he has worked well,” he said. “It’s one we need to talk about with the board to see if we can do something to give him a bit of a carrot going forward.
“We’re going to look at whether we can do something on a short-term basis and then, if he shows that he can produce the kind of things we need, we can look at talking to him again to see where we can go with it.
“Hopefully we’ll have in for the weekend and for a further short period so that he can show us all what he can do.”
Fleming, 26, started his career with Livingston as a youth player and subsequently had spells with Gretna, Oldham, Galway and Chesterfield before parting company with Grimsby earlier this year.
