United home to Ebbsfleet
Carlisle United play host to Conference Premier side Ebbsfleet in the first round of this season's FA Cup - tie to be played during the first week of November.
"All you ask for in any cup competition is a home tie," manager Greg Abbott said.
"We've got that but it's not one we will take lightly at all. Liam [Daish] has been with them a long time and he will see this is a good chance to come up here and show everyone what his team can do.
"It's one for us to look forward to but it's also one we will have to do properly. League position and recent results count for nothing if you don't prepare in the right way. We certainly don't want to be one of the teams who get a bloody nose because we've taken things for granted.
"We've got some important league games between now and the first round tie and we want to get results in those so that we go into November with a bit of momentum behind us."
