Result from the Alliance Cup game
United progressed to the third round of the Youth Alliance Cup this morning following a 5-2 victory over Accrington Stanley in what was an incident packed game.
Greg Peel, Patrick Brough (2), Kyle Dempsey and Connor Thomson notched the goals but the win came at a cost when Brad Staunch was sent off for dangerous play with just 24 minutes on the clock.
