Micah Obiero joined the Blues from Wealdstone for an undisclosed fee in September 2026, signing a two-year deal with an option of another year.

The forward began his career in the academies of Leyton Orient and Huddersfield Town, progressing through the ranks before making his senior debut for the Terriers in the Championship in 2020. 

He has previously spent time on loan at Brunton Park during the 2020/21 campaign, making seven appearances and scoring once.

Further loan experience followed through a loan spell with FC Halifax Town before permanent moves to Boston United and then Wealdstone. 

During his time with the Stones, Obiero became a key attacking player, making more than 160 appearances and scoring 29 goals. 

He has also represented Kenya at international level, earning his first senior cap in 2026.
