Ryan Galvin joined Carlisle United in January 2025 from Barnet for an undisclosed fee.

He featured for Rochdale on loan before making the permanent switch to Cumbria. Beforehand, the defender has experience turning out for FC Halifax Town in the National League after coming through the ranks at Wigan Athletic and Sheffield Wednesday.
