Williams joined United from Birmingham City in January 2025 for an undisclosed fee.

He came through Birmingham City's academy, making his debut in the 2021/22 season when he came on as a substitute in an FA Cup clash against Plymouth Argyle.

He made a total of nine first team appearances for Birmingham before going out on loan to Cheltenham Town in the 2023/24 season.  

Williams returned to his parent club before being loaned out to National League side Gateshead in November 2024. 

He made his debut as a substitute in a 2-2 draw with Aldershot Town. Since then, Williams quickly established himself in the side, before arriving at BP.
