Lewis made the switch to Brunton Park from Bradford City in January 2024 for an undisclosed fee, committing to Carlisle United until the summer of 2026.

He began his career at his hometown club Shrewsbury Town, rising through their Academy before moving to Premier League side Southampton in 2015. After impressing with the Saints’ under-23s, Lewis earned his senior debut in an FA Cup tie against Norwich City in January 2017.

Following a new three-year contract at Southampton, Lewis gained valuable first team experience during a season-long loan at Dundee United in 2018/19, featuring 39 times and helping the Scottish side secure a third-place finish in the Championship.

After his Southampton contract expired, Lewis joined Bradford City in the summer of 2022. Over 18 months at Valley Parade, he established himself as a key figure before making the move to Carlisle United, where his experience strengthens our goalkeeping options.
