Carlisle United are delighted to announce that World Group will be the official first team training kit sponsor for the 2026/27 season.

World Group have had a lengthy association with Blues, seeing their logo appearing on the back of the first-team shirts for the 2016/17 and 2017/18 campaigns, and have also sponsored the C and D stands at Brunton Park.

This marks another significant milestone in the long-term partnership between United and World Group.

Kerry Jardine, Carlisle United Commercial Manager, said: "I'm delighted to welcome World Group as the sponsor of our first team training kit.

"While this is a new sponsorship for World Group, the relationship goes back many years. Matt and Cliff have a real affinity with Carlisle United and care deeply about the Club, so seeing World Group’s branding on the first team training kit feels like a natural fit.

"It’s particularly pleasing when conversations and long-standing relationships develop into opportunities such as this. The training kit provides a fantastic platform for World Group’s new branding, and we’re proud to have them associated with the first team.

"I’d like to thank Matt, Cliff and everyone at World Group for their support, and look forward to working together over the coming season."

The new range of Macron training kit will be available to purchase in The Blues Store in July, following the release of our home and away kits for the 2026/27 season.

Matt Spooner, World Group Managing Director, said: "We’re delighted to continue our long-standing relationship with the Club. We’re excited to see our revamped logo on the training kit range.

"This extension of the partnership actually started as an off-the-cuff passing comment with Kerry. The more I thought about it, the more I liked the idea.

"Now here we are a few months down the line, and it’s happening."

Cliff Spooner, World Group Chairman, added: “Our connection with the Club originally goes back to the early Nineties, so it’s been great to get this done.

"I’m really proud to still be associated with the Club after all this time."
