It’s time to decide the Carlisle United Player of the Month for October, and we want YOU to determine who takes home the crown.
This month’s shortlist combines:
- Callum Whelan - Whelan played an important role in United's engine room throughout October, contributing to the Blues’ strong run of form as they picked up 13 points from their league fixtures. The vice-captain showcased his energy and quality in possession, while scoring in the victories over Harrogate Town and Altrincham.
- David Ajiboye - Ajiboye enjoyed a productive October in front of goal, scoring three times for the Blues. The forward struck a superb first-half brace in the 3-1 victory at Aldershot Town before coming off the bench to find the net again in the 2-1 comeback win against Solihull Moors.
- Micah Obiero - Obiero made a valuable impact throughout October, scoring twice for the Blues. The forward marked his return from international duty with a stoppage-time goal in the 3-1 win at Aldershot Town before coming on as a substitute to score again in the 4-2 win over Altrincham.
- Morgan Feeney - Feeney continued to lead by example in October, featuring in all five of United’s league fixtures and captaining the side from the heart of defence. The defender also made a valuable contribution at the other end of the pitch, scoring the winning goal in the 2-1 victory at Solihull Moors.
