Opposition player to watch:

Solihull Moors striker Jacob Wakeling has made an impressive start to the season, netting five times in 13 National League appearances.

The 25-year-old began his career in the academies of West Bromwich Albion and Leicester City, before gaining his first senior experience with non-league Alvechurch. He then joined Barrow on loan in January 2022, making four appearances, before moving to Swindon Town that summer. Wakeling enjoyed a productive spell with the Robins, scoring eight goals in 47 league appearances and earning a move to Peterborough United in September 2023.

After making eight appearances for Posh, the forward spent the 2024/25 campaign on loan at Gillingham, scoring once in 16 League Two appearances, before making the move to Solihull Moors permanently in September 2025. He scored nine National League goals in his first season with the club and will be looking to build on that tally this term as he continues to establish himself as an important attacking threat for the Moors.

Supporters travelling to the match by coach should ensure that their coach operator and driver are aware of the following arrangements:

  • No coach parking on Damson Parkway: Damson Parkway is a red route dual carriageway, and parking is strictly prohibited. Coaches may drop off passengers outside the stadium; however, they must then park at the designated NCP Car Park at Birmingham Airport Cargo Terminal, Coventry Road, Sheldon, Birmingham, B26 3QW. The car park is approximately a 20-minute walk from the stadium.
  • Important notice for drivers: Police and traffic wardens regularly patrol the area on matchdays. Drivers are reminded that stopping or parking restrictions apply on Damson Parkway, and any coach found in breach of these restrictions may receive a parking penalty notice.

SUPPORTER BEHAVIOUR

A quick reminder to all fans: abusive or offensive chanting, gestures or messages aren’t acceptable at any match. Football bodies and the authorities are continuing to clamp down on this kind of behaviour, and anyone involved could face action.
