Carlisle United and Kidderminster Harriers shared a point in a 0-0 draw at Brunton Park.
Regan Linney missed a penalty as the Blues struggled to get anything going against Paul Wotton's side.
Head Coach Rob Elliot made one change to his side, with Ryan Galvin coming into the side on the left flank and Josh Williams dropping out of the squad.
United had a bright start, with Linney chopping inside from the right wing, which was deflected towards goal by Owen Evans, but it was easily collected by Jack Wint.
Reece Devine was first to strike on goal for Kiddy, firing a left-footed shot which drifted just past the left upright.
The visitors worked the space on the left flank to allow Ben Crompton to cross, and Lewis Walker got their first to poke narrowly off target.
Morgan Feeney looked to have given the Blues the lead flicking Miguel Azeez's corner at the near post, but his header was cleared off the line.
A combination of Galvin and David Ajiboye saw the ball fall to Teddy Jenks, who shot from the edge of the penalty area, but it was high and wide.
