Carlisle United and Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice, have once again joined forces this Christmas to help raise vital funds for local people across Cumbria.

Building on the success of previous years, the club and the hospice have collaborated on another exclusive limited-edition Christmas card, featuring the official Carlisle United crest and a festive fox in a snowy winter scene.

The design is part of the hospice’s popular Christmas range, which also includes greetings cards with festive and local designs, 2025 calendars and diaries, gift wrap, and money wallets — all helping to fund the compassionate care the hospice provides for adults and children with life-limiting illnesses.

The ‘Festive CUFC Fox’ card is available to buy now from:

Every purchase helps to make a difference. It costs £5.3 million each year to run Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, with only around 20% of that coming from the NHS. Community support and local partnerships like this one are essential to keeping the charity’s services running.

Continuing a Strong Community Partnership

Julie Clayton, Chief Executive of Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, said: “The hospice holds such a special place in the hearts of so many within our community — and so does Carlisle United. Collaborating again this Christmas felt like the perfect way to bring people together while supporting local hospice care.

We’re really proud of the products we have to offer this year – they’re always popular, so if you’d like to buy something festive that gives back, make sure to get in quickly.”

Stef McLean, Retail Manager of the Blues Store, added: “As a club we’re always proud to support the hospice in any way we can. When we were asked to collaborate again on a Christmas card, we were delighted to get involved.

The cards look fantastic and will make a great gift for United fans this year – all while helping to raise funds for a wonderful local cause.”

Celebrating Cumbria Through Creativity

The 2025 calendar, along with some of the hospice’s cards and diaries, features stunning Cumbrian imagery donated by local photographers through the ‘Our Cumbria’ photography competition. Hundreds of photos were entered, with the winning images chosen by an independent panel of judges.

Holly Parkinson, Retail Operations and Development Manager at Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, said: “We’re over the Carlisle United–emblem moon to have worked alongside the club once again to create another beautifully themed Christmas card for 2025.

Carlisle United’s continued support makes such a difference, helping us raise vital funds so we can continue caring for people and families across our community when they need us most.”
