Carlisle United are pleased to confirm the timings and full details for our Family Fun Day on Saturday 18 July, a fantastic free event for supporters of all ages at Brunton Park.
The day will feature an open first-team training session, player meet-and-greets, live performances, family entertainment, football activities, community stalls, food and drink, and much more.
Schedule
- 9:50am - Carlisle Dance Academy opening performance on the training pitch.
- 10:00am–11:00am - Open first-team training session.
- 11:00am onwards - The training pitch opens to the public for activities and mini football matches.
- 11:00am onwards - Players will visit the different activity areas around the stadium, giving supporters the chance to meet them, take photos and collect autographs.
- Around 3:00pm - Event closes.
Family Area
Located next to the training pitch, the Family Area will include:
- Little Wonders soft play
- Face painting and crafts
- Scavenger hunt
- Jaz’s Little Movers

- Owl Magic
- Zoo Madness

- Elsa and Anna from Frozen
Fan Zone
The Fan Zone will feature:
- Cumbria Police
- Fire engines
- Pirelli simulator and Formula One tyre display
- Rickerby’s tractor
- Ice cream van
- Food and drink
- Live DJ
- Razzamataz performance
- Barbecue cooking demonstration
Businesses and community stalls
A range of local businesses, charities and community organisations will also be in attendance, including:

Pop-up Blues Store
A pop-up Blues Store gazebo will be open during the event, selling the new home kit, footballs and a range of other merchandise.
Fun Fair
The fun fair (located in the supporter car park) will include bouncy castles and a selection of rides for children and adults.
Training pitch activities
Following the open training session, supporters will be able to take part in a range of activities on the training pitch, including:
- Mini football matches
- Inflatable football dartboard
- Stocks
- Tug of war
- Limbo
- Football inflatables
- Speed shootout
- Penalty shootout
Entry and parking
Entry to the Family Fun Day is free, although some activities may require a small additional charge.
Please note that there will be no on-site parking available for supporters on the day – this will only be for players, staff and stall holders.
Supporters will also have the opportunity to meet their favourite players after training, with photo and autograph opportunities available throughout the event.
